The Six Assertions
1
Humans Are Rational Creatures
By divinity or by nature, human beings are bestowed the ability to reason, apply logic, and think critically. Art, story, and imagination are crucial elements of the human experience, but they are no basis for decision-making.
2
Humans Are Cooperative Creatures
All anthropological evidence indicates that humans have historically been a cooperative and peaceful species. The false myth that human nature is greedy and selfish are rejected. In slaying our masters, we seek to restore harmonious coexistence among all people and all beings.
3
Humans Need Not Be Governed
By virtue of our rationality, human beings are autonomous creatures that can regulate our behavior based on an inherent morality and interpersonal social feedback, without the coercion of a hierarchical state.
4
Liberty Is the Natural Order
All creatures are born free, even if not all creatures possess the capacity to maintain their freedom from external forces. Humans largely can defend their freedom, but they are indoctrinated by the structures of power to submit themselves to kings and dogmas and to civilization, to suppress their primal desire for freedom as a “barbaric” instinct.
5
There Is No Benevolent Power
None who accumulate power– whether through wealth or by force– possess benevolence in their heart. Any act of compassion or charity is performative, so that they can cultivate an image of kindness and retain their power.
6
All Who Seek Power Are Dangerous
No one seeks high power to save others. Every act is self-serving to preserve and expand their own power, and they will not hesitate to exploit, subjugate, or kill others that stand in their way.
